Located in Southeast Brazil, Ubatuba is a paradise of stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and exciting activities. Join us as we explore the beauty of Ubatuba over two days and discover why it’s one of the most popular destinations in Brazil.

We had read about Ubatuba in an Argentine magazine and decided to give it a go. Although it rains regularly, it remains a great beach destination with more than 70 beaches, and among them, Praia do Felix is one of the most beautiful in Brazil.

We arrived in Ubatuba from Iguazu and were ready to immerse ourselves in Brazilian culture. Just give us all those fruit juices! And yes, we will have an extra portion of açai :).

Praia do Felix

We decided to visit the famous Praia do Felix for our first and only full day in Ubatuba.

We took a bus from the town center and arrived at the beach in 30 min. The beach is beautiful, surround by the Atlantic rainforest, with clear water and fine sand. It’s pretty tiny, but this only adds to its charm.

Praia do Felix

Whether you’re looking to soak up the sun, explore the nearby rainforest, or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters, Praia do Felix has something for everyone. The beach is lined with palm trees and white sand, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Plus, the nearby town of Florianopolis offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and nightlife for those looking for a more lively experience.

Praia do Felix

Although there were many people, most stayed on one side of the beach, close to the food stalls and terraces. That left us with one good chunk of the beach, almost for ourselves.

We sunbathed most of the day, resulting in a few sunburns :(, had some of those divine fruit juices, took pictures, and left the place feeling happy and grateful.

Florianopolis

Florianopolis is known for its gorgeous white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and lush rainforest. Spend the day swimming, surfing, and snorkeling in the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the breathtaking views.

It’s worth visiting Ubatuba

You can find information about Ubatuba in Lonely Planet, magazines, and the Internet. However, from the number of foreign tourists we saw, it is still a hidden gem. While there were tourists, the majority of them were Brazilians. In conclusion, it must be worth it for Brazilians to go there :).
